Look Beyond the Portfolio Highlights
A polished portfolio is important, but full wedding galleries show whether a Chatham photographer can maintain consistency across an entire day. Ask any prospective wedding photographer in Chatham to see a complete recent gallery. A portfolio may contain only the strongest photographs from dozens of weddings, while a full gallery demonstrates what the photographer actually delivers from getting ready through the reception. Look for consistency in different lighting conditions, family photographs, candid moments, portraits, ceremony coverage, and reception images. This gives couples a much better understanding of what their own finished gallery may look like.
Ask How Your Chatham Photographer Handles the Unexpected
Weddings rarely go exactly as planned. Fifteen-plus years of shooting weddings across Chatham-Kent means this Chatham wedding photographer has already solved most problems before they happen. Rain, delays, missing family members, changing light, crowded venues, and last-minute schedule adjustments are all things that can happen without warning. The important question is not whether something unexpected will happen, but whether your photographer knows how to respond when it does. An experienced Chatham photographer can make adjustments without allowing the couple to feel like the entire day has been thrown off course.
Confirm Turnaround and Delivery Details
Before signing with any Chatham photographer, confirm editing turnaround and delivery format. Mark Requena typically delivers finished Chatham wedding galleries within one to four weeks. It is worth understanding exactly what is included, how the photographs are delivered, and what couples can expect after the wedding before making a booking. Clear expectations make the process easier for everyone and eliminate surprises later. Couples should feel comfortable asking questions about coverage, editing, image delivery, engagement sessions, albums, or anything else that matters to them. Send your questions directly through the contact page.
